On Wednesday, Walmart rose more than 3% to $102.68. In terms of news, Morgan Stanley recently issued a research report maintaining Walmart's "overweight" rating with a target price of $115. The firm stated that Walmart's paid membership service, Walmart+, reached a new high in terms of members in July 2025, indicating the continued effectiveness of the retail giant's strategic layout in the e-commerce sector. According to Morgan Stanley's AlphaWise monthly consumer pulse survey data, the number of Walmart+ members reached approximately 28.3 million in July, equivalent to a household penetration rate of about 22% in the United States. This number increased by 1.1 million compared to June, making it the highest record since the survey began in September 2020. With a rolling three-month statistical period, the number of Walmart+ members increased by about 27% year-on-year.
