Apollo Global Management has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Stream Data Centers. This is the first such acquisition completed by the alternative asset management company in the backdrop of a surge in demand for digital infrastructure. The asset management company stated that this transaction will provide Apollo-managed funds with the opportunity to invest billions of dollars in the digital infrastructure space. As part of the deal, the management team of Stream Data Centers will retain a minority stake. The transaction is expected to be completed later this year.
