According to the Zhixin Finance APP, data from the China Iron and Steel Association shows that in late July 2025, the steel inventory of key steel enterprises was 14.78 million tons, a decrease of 880,000 tons or 5.6% compared to the previous ten days. It increased by 2.41 million tons or 19.5% compared to the beginning of the year, decreased by 670,000 tons or 4.3% compared to the same period last month, decreased by 1.27 million tons or 7.9% compared to the same period last year, and increased by 290,000 tons or 2.0% compared to the same period two years ago.
