According to a report from Qunzhi Consulting, the global HV production capacity is expected to be around 380,000 wafers per month in 2025, with a production volume of approximately 290,000 wafers per month, resulting in a HV production capacity utilization rate of about 75%. Due to the release of HV production capacity by mainstream foundries and the continuous entry of second-tier foundries into HV processes, it is projected that global HV production capacity supply will increase to around 410,000 wafers per month in 2026. The layout of second-tier foundries in the HV process is less influenced by demand-driven factors, on one hand, to expand the supply chain share, and on the other hand, to fill the initial production capacity and ensure factory utilization. Qunzhi Consulting predicts that the global HV production capacity utilization rate will decrease to around 70% in 2026.
