The roof of the world is no longer an isolated island. From the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet and Sichuan-Tibet highways to the completion and operation of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the "Fuxing" high-speed train now races across the snowy plateau. Tibet has bid farewell to the days of people carrying loads on their backs and animals, gradually establishing a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network covering roads, railways, and aviation. By the end of 2024, the total mileage of roads open to traffic and the operating mileage of railways in Tibet will reach 124,900 kilometers and 1,359 kilometers respectively, with 183 international and domestic air routes. Four power grids have been completed and put into operation in Qinghai-Tibet, Sichuan-Tibet, Central Tibet, and Ali, with the main power grid covering all counties. Rural water safety has been fundamentally resolved, with all administrative villages having access to fiber optic and 4G networks.
