Emerging markets reduce gains, US threatens to increase tariffs on India.

US President Donald Trump has threatened to increase tariffs on India, possibly exceeding the punitive rates announced last week, leading to a reduction in the gains of currencies and stocks in developing economies. The MSCI Emerging Markets Currency Index fell from its intraday high, rising by 0.4%, while the stock index saw gains reduced to 0.9%.
