The Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission stated on August 4 that it will focus on increasing the effort in forward-looking, strategic, and disruptive technological breakthroughs, promote state-owned enterprises to build original technology innovation hubs, further implement relevant policies in the "Several Measures to Support Enterprises in Shanghai to Strengthen Basic Research and Add New Drivers for High-quality Development", strengthen cooperation and collaboration with various ownership entities, vigorously develop strategic emerging industries, accelerate the seize of future development high ground, and better serve Shanghai in deepening the construction of an international science and technology innovation center.
