Recently, members of the Party Committee and Deputy Directors of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, Cong Lin, visited Cangshu Hui Village in Dachengzi Town, Miyun District, Beijing, and Zhai Town in Henan, and Zhoujiazhuang Village in Liudaohe Town, Xinglong County, Hebei Province to inspect the situation of disaster and damage, supervise insurance claims and other financial services, and visit and comfort frontline staff in the banking and insurance industry serving flood control and disaster relief. Cong Lin emphasized the need to fully utilize the economic stabilizer and social stabilizer functions of the insurance industry, actively demonstrate the important role of the banking industry in supporting post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, and minimize the loss of people's property to the greatest extent. Timely conduct survey and rescue work, open up green channels, provide proactive services, ensure quick and sufficient compensation, and strengthen credit support. Do not blindly withdraw, cut off, or pressure loans, increase inclusive financial services, and help disaster-affected households, small and micro enterprises, and individual businesses through difficult times. Cong Lin pointed out that we are still in a critical period for flood prevention, so we need to increase the initiative and forward-looking nature of our work, closely monitor important disaster information, improve risk warnings, strengthen preparedness, enhance emergency support capabilities, and ensure that if there is a sudden dangerous situation, we can respond and deal with it promptly and effectively.
