A tornado hit a place in Chayou Banner, Ulanqab City, causing no casualties.

On August 4th, around 12 o'clock, a sudden tornado occurred in Xinsheng Village, Front Banner of Chayouzhaoqi, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia, due to the impact of severe convective weather. This tornado caused varying degrees of damage to 8 Mongolian yurts used for tourism by a homestay owner in the village, with an estimated economic loss of over 600,000 yuan. A damaged power pole was promptly repaired by the power department and electricity was restored within an hour. The scene has been cleaned up and fortunately, there were no casualties.
