Hebei Province has upgraded the emergency response for major meteorological disasters such as heavy rain to Level II.

According to "Hebei Province Major Meteorological Disaster Emergency Plan", after consultation and assessment, the Hebei Province Meteorological Disaster Prevention Command upgraded the emergency response to Level II for major meteorological disasters at 19:00 on August 4th. All localities and units are required to strengthen assessment in accordance with actual conditions, timely initiate and upgrade emergency response to heavy rain disasters, and carry out prevention and response work in accordance with the requirements of the plan.
