Qinghai issues red meteorological warning for geological disaster risk.

Today, the Qinghai Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Qinghai Provincial Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a geological disaster meteorological risk warning: based on the actual precipitation in the past 48 hours and the forecast for the next 24 hours, combined with the susceptibility to geological disasters, from 8:00 pm on August 4th to 8:00 pm on August 5th, 2025: Huangzhong District and Huangyuan County of Xining City; Hualong County and Minhe County of Haidong City; and Jianzha County of Huangnan Prefecture are at Level I risk of geological disaster meteorological warning, with a high risk of geological disasters due to meteorological factors. The main urban area of Xining City and Datong County; Huzhu County, Xunhua County, Ping'an District, and Ledu District of Haidong City; Shuangpeng Township of Tongren City in Huangnan Prefecture; and Guide County of Hainan Prefecture are at Level II risk of geological disaster meteorological warning, with a high risk of geological disasters due to meteorological factors. The remaining townships of Tongren City in Huangnan Prefecture, Zeku County; Tianjun County, Wulan County, Duolun County of Haixi Prefecture; Menyuan County, Gangcha County, and Qilian County's Babao Town and Zhamashixiang of Haibei Prefecture; Guinan County of Hainan Prefecture; and Lajia Town of Maqin County in Golog Prefecture are at Level III risk of geological disaster meteorological warning, with a relatively high risk of geological disasters due to meteorological factors.
