Hong Kong Land Registry: The total value of building sale contracts in July was HK $54.6 billion, an increase of 28% year-on-year.

The Hong Kong Land Registry released the statistics for the month of July 2025 today. A total of 7212 building sale and purchase agreements were submitted to the Hong Kong Land Registry for registration in July, representing a decrease of 0.8% compared to the previous month and an increase of 37.1% compared to the same period last year. The twelve-month moving average for building sale and purchase agreements in July was 5974, showing an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous month and an increase of 21.2% compared to the same period last year. The total value of building sale and purchase agreements in July was 54.6 billion Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 17.8% compared to the previous month and an increase of 28.0% compared to the same period last year.
