Guangdong experiences heavy to severe rain, Huizhou issues multiple flood warnings consecutively.

According to the monitoring of the meteorological and hydrological department of Guangdong Province, from 8:00 to 14:00 on August 4th, 14 towns recorded heavy rain exceeding 100 mm, and 105 towns recorded rain between 50 mm and 100 mm. On August 4th, due to continuous rainfall, the water levels of several small and medium-sized rivers in Huizhou, Guangdong Province continued to rise. The Huizhou Hydrological Sub-Bureau of the Guangdong Provincial Hydrological Bureau issued 5 flood warnings in one day. Among them, the Yonghan River in Longmen County was under a yellow flood warning; the Baitang River, Shibao Water, Gongzhuang River, and Tonghu Water in Boluo County and Zhongkai High-tech Zone were under a blue flood warning.
