The Hang Seng Technology Index rose by 1.55%. Semiconductor stocks led the gains, with ASM Pacific Technology rising by about 30%. The company announced a partnership with Nvidia to jointly promote the large-scale implementation of 800 VDC power architecture in AI data centers. Huahong Semiconductor rose by approximately 9%, while SMIC International rose by about 3%. Southbound funds sold a net amount of about 18.1 billion yuan, marking the largest single-day net selling since May 12th.
