Shanghai: Support companies to increase investment in basic research and strengthen technological reserves.

The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Several Measures to Support Enterprises in Strengthening Basic Research and Enhancing New Momentum for High-quality Development in Shanghai", which emphasizes supporting enterprises to continuously increase investment in basic research. For enterprises that invest in basic research reaching or exceeding 100 million yuan per year, a one-time financial subsidy of 10 million yuan will be given; for enterprises with an annual investment in basic research of 50 million to 100 million yuan, a one-time financial subsidy of 5 million yuan will be given; for enterprises with an annual investment in basic research of 10 million to 50 million yuan, a one-time financial subsidy of 2 million yuan will be given.
