Our country has made significant progress in the development of AIDS vaccines.

Recently, a team including the China CDC AIDS Prevention Center completed the first phase of clinical trials for a replicating Tianjin smallpox carrier AIDS vaccine in China. This research innovatively uses the smallpox virus "Tianjin strain" which was previously used to eradicate smallpox as the carrier, verifying the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine. This marks an important advancement in China's research and development of AIDS vaccines.
