Former Deputy Mayor Jing Hu of Datong City Government in Shanxi Province has been expelled from the Communist Party.

After investigation, Jing Hu has lost his faith in ideals, breached the bottom line of discipline and law, ignored the spirit of the central eight-point regulations, received gifts, cash gifts, and consumption cards, borrowed vehicles from subordinate units for personal use, accepted banquets and arranged for others to pay for his own banquet expenses; violated organizational principles, failed to report personal relevant matters according to regulations, failed to truthfully explain issues during organizational talks and inquiries, sought benefits for others and received money in job adjustments, sought benefits for relatives and friends in staff recruitment; breached the clean line, received cash gifts, consumption cards, and borrowed money from management service objects for large gains; taken advantage of his official position, sought profits for others in business operations, and illegally accepted large sums of money.
