Beijing issues yellow alert for urban waterlogging.

On August 4, 2025, at 10:00, the Beijing Water Authority and the Beijing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a yellow alert for urban waterlogging: it is expected that there will be a high risk of waterlogging in Haidian District, Fengtai District, and Shijingshan District in Beijing. Other areas in the central urban area have a moderate risk of waterlogging. It is advised that citizens pay attention to the weather and changes in rainfall, avoid low-lying areas when traveling, and take precautions for underground spaces.
