Chengdu continues to issue a red alert for high temperatures.

Chengdu Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a red alert for high temperatures at 10:00 on August 4, 2025: It is expected that the highest temperature in Wuhou District, Jinjiang District, Qingyang District, Chenghua District, Jinniu District, Gaoxin South District, Gaoxin West District, and Qingbaijiang District in our city will rise to above 37C today; most towns in the Eastern New Area of Chengdu will have a highest temperature of over 40C. The high temperature period will mainly occur from 12:00 to 19:00. It is expected that the high temperature weather will continue for the next 2 days, please be aware of the adverse effects of high temperatures.
