The latest data released by the State Administration of Taxation shows that in the first half of this year, the sales revenue of enterprises nationwide remained steady, with the development of the manufacturing industry steady and of high quality. The effects of the "Two New" policy are apparent. Value-added tax invoice data shows that in the first half of this year, the growth rate of sales revenue in the manufacturing industry was 1.5 percentage points faster than the overall growth rate of enterprises nationwide, becoming an important support for stable economic growth. The "high-end" transformation of the manufacturing industry is also steadily advancing, with sales revenue in equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing industries increasing by 8.9% and 11.9% respectively. At the same time, the innovative industry continues to grow, with sales revenue of high-tech industries increasing by 14.3% year-on-year in the first half of the year, maintaining rapid growth. The sales revenue of core industries in the digital economy and the amount of digital technology purchases by enterprises nationwide both increased by around 10% year-on-year, reflecting the continuous acceleration of the processes of digital industrialization and industry digitization.
