Mobile power certification implementation rules released, effective from August 15th.

Today, reporters learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation that in order to strengthen the mandatory product certification management for mobile power supplies, lithium-ion batteries, and battery packs, the State Administration for Market Regulation has formulated the "Implementation Rules for Mandatory Product Certification for Mobile Power Supplies, Lithium-ion Batteries, and Battery Packs". The new rules will be implemented from August 15, 2025, and designated certification bodies should formulate corresponding certification implementation rules in accordance with the new rules and the general implementation rules for mandatory product certification, and then file them with the State Administration for Market Regulation before they can implement certification and issue certification certificates in accordance with the new rules. Valid mandatory product certification certificates that have been issued before can continue to be used, and the conversion of certification certificates will be completed through natural transitions such as expiration and renewal, product changes, and standard updates.
