Currently, it is a critical period for ensuring peak summer energy supply. The National Energy Administration announced today that during the peak summer period, electricity demand has repeatedly reached new highs, but the national power supply remains stable and orderly, successfully passing the first round of high temperature and high load tests since the beginning of summer. The National Energy Administration stated that since the start of the peak summer period, the national maximum electricity load has broken historical records four times, surpassing 1.5 billion kilowatts, with the highest reaching 1.508 billion kilowatts. So far, 19 provinces including Jiangsu, Shandong, and Guangdong have experienced their electricity grids breaking historical load records 46 times. The national power supply remains stable and orderly, successfully passing the first round of high temperature and high load tests since the beginning of summer.
