The Ministry of Water Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a yellow alert for mountain torrents on July 31 at 18:00. It is expected that from 20:00 on July 31 to 20:00 on August 1, parts of southwestern Inner Mongolia, southern Anhui, western and southern Yunnan, northwestern Shaanxi, northern Ningxia, and central Xinjiang may experience mountain flood disasters. Among them, the likelihood of mountain flood disasters occurring in southern Anhui, southern Yunnan, and northwestern Shaanxi is relatively high.
