According to the data from the People's Bank of China, in June, various types of bonds were issued in the bond market totaling 87,939.5 billion yuan. Treasury bonds issued amounted to 15,903.9 billion yuan, local government bonds issued amounted to 11,753.2 billion yuan, financial bonds issued amounted to 10,738.7 billion yuan, corporate credit bonds issued amounted to 14,257.3 billion yuan, credit asset-backed securities issued amounted to 247.2 billion yuan, and inter-bank certificates of deposit issued amounted to 34,569.3 billion yuan. As of the end of June, the custody balance in the bond market was 188.5 trillion yuan. Among them, the custody balance in the interbank market was 166.7 trillion yuan, and the custody balance in the exchange market was 21.9 trillion yuan. In terms of bond types, the custody balance for treasury bonds was 37.2 trillion yuan, local government bonds was 51.7 trillion yuan, financial bonds was 42.7 trillion yuan, corporate credit bonds was 33.7 trillion yuan, credit asset-backed securities was 1 trillion yuan, and inter-bank certificates of deposit was 21.1 trillion yuan. The custody balance for bond securities at commercial banks' counters was 203.8 billion yuan.
