On July 30, 2025, the Department of Natural Resources and the Meteorological Bureau of Shandong Province jointly issued a geological disaster meteorological risk warning. According to the forecast of rainfall in the next 24 hours and the analysis of actual rainfall in the previous period: there is a high possibility of geological disasters being triggered by rainfall in the southern part of Jinan City, parts of Qingdao City, parts of Zibo City, large parts of Yantai City, parts of Weifang City, eastern parts of Jining City, large parts of Weihai City, large parts of Rizhao City, and parts of Linyi City.
