Jiangsu issues yellow flood warning for the southern Grand Canal in Jiangsu.
On July 30th at 16:50, the Water Resources Department of Jiangsu Province issued a yellow flood warning for the southern part of the province. Due to heavy rainfall, the water level at Changzhou Station on the Sutong Canal is 4.37 meters, exceeding the warning level by 0.07 meters, while the water level at Wuxi Station is 4.50 meters, exceeding the warning level by 0.30 meters, and the water level at Suzhou Station is 4.23 meters, exceeding the warning level by 0.13 meters. It is expected that the water level will continue to rise. It is advised that all levels of government and relevant departments in the affected areas should be prepared for flood prevention work, and the public should take precautions to avoid disaster.
