Shandong initiates level four emergency response for flood and typhoon prevention.

According to the "Emergency Plan for Flood and Drought Prevention in Shandong Province", after consultation and assessment, the Shandong Province Flood Control Headquarters has decided to initiate a Level IV emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention in Jinan, Qingdao, Zibo, Zaozhuang, Dongying, Yantai, Weifang, Jining, Taian, Weihai, Rizhao, and Linyi starting from 18:00 on July 30. It is required that all relevant departments closely monitor the impact of wind and rain, promptly initiate or adjust emergency responses, closely monitor and guard small reservoirs, geological disasters caused by mountain torrents, floods in small and medium-sized rivers, and key points prone to urban and rural waterlogging. Strictly implement measures for preventing wind at sea and controlling safety risks in key areas, promptly issue warning information, decisively organize the evacuation of residents in dangerous areas, pre-position sufficient supplies and teams, and make necessary preparations for emergency response and rescue operations to effectively prevent and respond to emergencies.
