Beijing issued an orange weather warning for geological disasters.

The Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission, in conjunction with the Municipal Meteorological Bureau, will continue to issue an orange alert for geological hazards at 17:30 on July 30. From 17:30 on July 30 to 17:30 on July 31, there is a high risk of landslides and collapses in the northeast part of Yanqing District, the central part of Huairou District, the northern and eastern parts of Miyun District, and the northern part of Pinggu District. In the central part of Fangshan District, the northern and western parts of Changping District, the eastern part of Yanqing District, the northern and southern parts of Huairou District, the northeast and southwest parts of Miyun District may also experience a high risk of landslides and collapses. There is a risk of landslides and collapses in the northern and western parts of Fangshan District, most of Mentougou District, the western parts of Fengtai, Shijingshan, and the western part of Haidian District, the western and central parts of Yanqing District, and the central and southern parts of Pinggu, so please take precautions.
