Inner Mongolia Huadian released its performance report, with a total operating income of 9.827 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year decrease of 8.75%. Net profit was 1.557 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.91%. During the reporting period, the company generated 24.324 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, a decrease of 14.58% compared to the same period last year; and the grid-connected electricity reached 22.521 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 14.58% compared to the same period last year. Among them, thermal power generation reached 22.376 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 15.61% year-on-year. The main reason for this is that the increase in new energy generation within the region has led to an increase in peak-shifting times for the company's thermal power units, resulting in a decrease in the utilization hours of the thermal power units.
