China Railway Shanghai Bureau initiates level II emergency response for typhoon and flood prevention.
According to CCTV news, it was learned from the Shanghai Railway Bureau that as Typhoon "Zhu Jiecao" approaches, the Shanghai Railway Bureau has timely initiated a level two emergency response for typhoon and flood prevention, taking measures such as early warning, proactive evacuation, and dynamic inspection to ensure the safety of railway transport and passenger travel. Today, it is planned to implement speed restrictions on some sections of the Hangzhou-Shenzhen, Shanghai-Hangzhou, Hangzhou-Ningbo, Shanghai-Nanjing, Beijing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed railways, Shanghai-Suzhou-Tongzhou railway, Jinshan railway, and other sections affected by the typhoon. At the same time, some trains will be temporarily suspended or their operating sections shortened. According to the changes in the typhoon's path, on the basis of ensuring transportation safety, the railway department resumed operation of 14 trains today, including the Xiangyang-Ningbo line from Ningbo to Jinan T136, Ningbo to Xi'an K466/7, and Ningbo to Luoyang K166/7.
