Nissan will consolidate its automobile production business in Mexico and promote global restructuring.

Nissan announced on July 30th that as part of the company's global production restructuring, all car production in Mexico will be consolidated into the Aguascalientes plant by the 2025 fiscal year. This will utilize advanced equipment to improve production and logistics efficiency while supporting sustainable growth. The CIVAC plant in Cuernavaca, where Nissan is located, will cease production by the 2025 fiscal year. As part of their restructuring plan, Nissan plans to reduce their global production bases from 17 to 10.
