Tianjin Emergency Management Bureau issued a safety reminder on the evening of July 29th: From July 27th to 29th, Ji County suffered heavy rain, with some areas experiencing extremely heavy rainfall. The maximum rainfall was 295 millimeters. At the same time, the upstream of the Bo River also experienced extremely heavy rainfall, causing the Bo River to reach its highest flood peak in 70 years. Thirteen villages along the Bo River in Ji County were flooded, leading to the emergency evacuation of 10,527 people. Residents are reminded that the mountainous areas of Ji County have fast-flowing streams in the ravines, and the Chaobai River is continuously rising, posing significant safety hazards. Citizens are advised to stay away from rivers, reservoirs, and other water bodies in the near future to ensure personal safety.
