China has become one of the most efficient countries in the world for port customs clearance.

The State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences on July 30 on "high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan". Wang Zhizhong, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Director of the National Immigration Administration, stated that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the national border control agencies have checked in and out a total of 1.556 billion people and over 98 million transportation vehicles, making China one of the countries with the highest port clearance efficiency in the world.
