The officially launched "National Food Safety Internal Whistleblower Reporting System" encourages reports on 4 types of illegal or irregular clues: firstly, "violations by individuals", such as employees without health certificates, manual tampering of production dates, etc.; secondly, "risks of goods", such as the use of expired raw materials, illegal additives, etc.; thirdly, "environmental hazards", such as unsanitary production premises, violations of storage conditions, etc.; fourthly, "management loopholes", such as issues exposed by forged testing reports indicating the existence of deficiencies in management systems. In order to encourage informants to report with confidence and willingness, the reporting system supports dual-track reporting with real-name and anonymous options, and ensures information security through technical means; rewards are given to valid reports, and relying on the closed-loop management of "national unified receiving, coding, and assignment", informants can track the handling progress in real time and fully understand the dynamics of the handling of reporting matters.
