10 Chinese car companies made it onto the Fortune Global 500 list, with BYD ranking the highest.

On July 29, 2025, the Fortune Global 500 list was announced, with a total of 10 Chinese automobile companies making the list. Among them, BYD ranked 91st, rising 52 places from last year; SAIC ranked 138th, slightly lower than last year; Geely surpassed FAW by rising 30 places from last year, ranking third among Chinese automobile companies on the list at 155th. According to the rankings, the 10 Chinese automobile companies on the list are BYD, SAIC, Geely, FAW, BAIC, Chery, GAC, Dongfeng, CATL, and Yihetuan. Among them, BYD, Geely, and Chery saw an increase in rank compared to last year.
