To deal with the large amount of water flowing into the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River, the Xiaolangdi water conservancy hub has opened to release floodwaters.

At 18:00 on July 28th, in response to the high-density sand-bearing flood caused by heavy rainfall in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, the Xiaolangdi Water Conservancy Hub opened the No. 2 sand discharge orifice, with a discharge flow of 800 cubic meters per second. This is the first time since the end of this year's water diversion and sediment diversion that the Xiaolangdi Water Conservancy Hub has opened for flood discharge during the flood season.
