Li Chuangqi, the head of Xiaomi's AI Glasses project, revealed that the project was approved by Xiaomi's founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun personally. Li Chuangqi disclosed that Xiaomi's first AI glasses sold out quickly after release. The team found that the sales exceeded their previous expectations by several times, even though they had already stocked up more than half of the annual supply of most startups in the industry.
