Anthropic announces: Flow restriction on Claude code.

Anthropic announced on social media platforms that starting August 28th, Claude Pro and Max will have a weekly usage limit set. Due to the high costs, a very small number of users have been using continuously for 24 hours, resulting in costs of tens of thousands of dollars for a $200 package user, which the company cannot sustain. Additionally, there are a few individuals who share or resell accounts, taking up resources and affecting everyone. The company estimates that less than 5% of users will be affected. If a Max user exceeds their usage limit, they can purchase additional usage at the standard API rate.
