Shanghai Yidian, in cooperation with Xizhi Technology, Biren Technology, and ZTE Communications, released the first domestic optical interconnect optical switch GPU super node.

On July 28, 2025, during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Shanghai Yidian Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Shanghai Xizhi Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Biren Technology Co., Ltd., and ZTE Corporation, officially released the first domestic optical interconnect optical exchange GPU super node - LightSphere X. This super node is based on Xizhi Technology's globally pioneering distributed optical exchange technology, using silicon photonics technology's optical interconnect optical exchange chip and Biren Technology's independently developed high computing power general GPU liquid cooling module with a new carrier board interconnect. It is equipped with ZTE's high-performance AI domestic server and Yidian's Intelligent Computing Cloud Platform software, creating a high-bandwidth, low-latency, flexible, and scalable self-controllable intelligent computing cluster, which will soon be deployed at the Shanghai Yidian Intelligent Computing Center.
