On July 26, 2025, around 14 o'clock, a major road traffic accident occurred on Xinguang Avenue in Fancun Town, Hejin City, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, involving a semi-trailer and a minivan, resulting in 6 deaths and 8 injuries. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Notice of the State Council on Further Strengthening Work Safety in Enterprises" and the "Methods for Handling and Supervising Major Accidents in Shanxi Province", the Shanxi Provincial Safety Committee Office has decided to supervise and handle this accident through a special mechanism.
