Russia resumes direct air connection between Moscow and Pyongyang.
The flight from the Russian capital Moscow to the North Korean capital Pyongyang took off from Sheremetyevo Airport around 19:00 on the 27th Moscow time, marking the reopening of passenger air route between Moscow and Pyongyang after many years. The flight is operated by the Russian airline North Wind and the flight time is approximately 8 hours. It is reported that the return flight from Pyongyang to Moscow is scheduled to depart on the 29th. The Russian Ministry of Transport stated that the Moscow to Pyongyang flight will operate once a month.
