Cholera outbreak in Congo.

The Minister of Health and Population of the Republic of the Congo, Jean-Jacques Rousseau Ibara, announced on the 26th that there has been a cholera epidemic in the province of Brazzaville, with two confirmed cases of cholera. Ibara stated in a statement that the Ministry of Health and Population of the country received reports of suspected cases of cholera in Brazzaville province on the 10th. The National Public Health Laboratory of the country tested three blood samples collected on Mbamu Island in the province, and cholera vibrio was detected in two of them. So far, 103 suspected cases have been reported in the area, with 12 deaths.
