The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a blue alert for strong winds at 18:00 on July 27th.
It is expected that from 8:00 pm on July 27th to 8:00 pm on July 28th, there will be strong winds of force 8-9, gusting up to force 10, in the northern part of the East China Sea. The southern part of the East China Sea and the Bashi Channel will experience winds of force 7-8, gusting up to force 9. South of Taiwan in the ocean, the eastern and southwestern parts of the South China Sea will have winds of force 7, gusting up to force 8. In some areas of central Xinjiang and Shanxi, northwestern Qinghai, western Gansu, and western Inner Mongolia, there will be winds of force 5-6, gusting up to force 7-8.
From 8:00 pm on July 28th to 8:00 pm on July 29th, the southern part of the Yellow Sea, most of the East China Sea, south of Taiwan in the ocean, and the Bashi Channel will experience winds of force 7-8, gusting up to force 9. In some areas of the northern part of the East China Sea, winds could reach force 9, gusting up to force 10. The majority of the South China Sea will have winds of force 7, gusting up to force 8. In some areas of central and eastern Xinjiang, northwestern Qinghai, western Gansu, western and northeastern Inner Mongolia, there will be winds of force 5-6, gusting up to force 7-8.
