China Tobacco Hong Kong (06055.HK) has reached a consensus with China Tobacco International to maintain its business position in the Chinese domestic duty-free cigarette industry.

China Tobacco International Limited, the only enterprise with national monopoly on the import and export of tobacco, released the "Management Measures for Tobacco Products in the Domestic Duty-Free Market (Draft for Comments)" on July 25, 2025. China Tobacco Hong Kong (06055.HK) has taken notice of this announcement.
