Partial damaged communication facilities in Baoding and Chengde, Hebei Province have been restored due to flooding. Currently, there are no disconnected villages.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, on July 26, floods and floods occurred in Baoding and Chengde cities in Hebei province, causing damage to some communication facilities. 350 base stations in Baoding were out of service, and currently 244 base stations have been restored. Chengde city has organized personnel, equipment, and vehicles to the front line flood control and drought resistance headquarters in various counties, and will carry out repair and restoration work when the local government requests it to do so. At present, the communication during disaster relief command at all levels of government is smooth, and there are no villages that have lost contact. As of 3:00 pm on July 27th, the Hebei communication industry has deployed a total of 2104 emergency personnel, 798 emergency vehicles, 2539 power generators, 2 sets of drones, 171 satellite phones, and sent 349 million emergency text messages.
