The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government opposes smearing the police force's law enforcement actions.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government strongly opposes and is dissatisfied with the distortion of facts and smearing of the SAR's lawful actions to apprehend fugitives who pose a threat to national security by officials and politicians from the United States, Canada, Australia, and anti-China organizations. These foreign officials, politicians, and anti-China organizations not only turn a blind eye to the criminal activities of these individuals, but also deliberately smear the SAR Government's lawful measures and actions, and make irresponsible remarks in an attempt to confuse the public. The SAR Government expresses strong discontent with this.
