Xu Li pointed out that the amount of text processed by GPT-3 is equivalent to the creative accumulation of humanity over ten thousand years. "It is the high knowledge density of natural language that has led to the model's strong generalization and universal capabilities, becoming the key foundation for the development of general AI today." However, a crisis is already looming. Xu Li warned that natural language data may be depleted by 2027-2028, and while visual data is abundant, it is difficult to effectively extract knowledge from it.
