According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, since July, there has been widespread high temperatures in areas such as the Huang-Huai, Yangtze-Huai, and Yangtze-Hans regions, with continued below-average rainfall, accelerated soil moisture loss, and rapid development of drought in some areas. The meteorological department predicts that in the next 10 days, the above-mentioned areas will continue to have periodic high temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius, with limited rainfall, and the high temperatures and dry conditions may continue to develop, bringing adverse effects on autumn grain production.
