The world's largest single-unit green ammonia plant has started production in Jilin.

The Dadian Wind Power Green Hydrogen Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project of China Power Investment Corporation was officially put into operation in Da'an City, Jilin Province on July 26. The project's facility can produce 180,000 tons of green ammonia annually, making it the largest single green ammonia facility in the world. As a national clean and low-carbon hydrogen energy demonstration project and one of the top 100 strategic emerging industry projects, the project innovatively uses technologies such as direct current microgrids, flexible control, and solid-state hydrogen storage, exploring replicable industrial new models for on-site conversion of new energy.
