Vietnam Cruise Ship Capsizes Incident: Search and rescue operation ends 49 people on board confirmed, 39 reported dead.

On July 27th local time, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province in Vietnam informed the media that the search and rescue operation for the capsized cruise ship in Ha Long Bay had ended. Out of the 49 passengers and crew on board, 10 were rescued and 39 died. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident. On the afternoon of July 19th local time, a cruise ship carrying 49 people capsized in Ha Long Bay due to thunderstorm weather.
